This year, Easter Monday at Nasze Zoo brings another new attraction: the opening of an enclosure for Tibetan pigs. Thanks to the support of Sparkasse Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien, the previous pig enclosure could be significantly expanded and improved so that our guests can enjoy close contact with the animals. At the new enclosure, visitors will be able not only to look pigs in the eye, but also to see them in their entirety from above, below and from the side.
The ceremonial opening of the enclosure will take place on Wet Monday at 11:00 a.m.. Games and activities for children will be organized as part of the opening.
On that day, the Easter Bunny will visit Nasze Zoo twice: at 10:00 a.m. and at 3:00 p.m.. And that means for the children: attention, ready? We are looking for... colorful eggs and other gifts!
As every year, Nasze Zoo is teeming with young animals – chicks, kids, lambs and, of course, piglets. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon everyone will be able to try their hand at a wheelbarrow manure race, and at 2:00 p.m. they will build a stork’s nest together with the Association for Upper Lusatian Heathlands and Ponds.
The musical entertainment will be provided by Christian Zumpe, who will play, among other things, country hits on his guitar.
