At the same time, police officers from Chojnów received a report of an Audi theft. The perpetrators of the robbery were allegedly travelling in this vehicle.
The bandits drove to Bolesławiec, where they abandoned the car (it has already been recovered). Further activities led to the identification and securing of another car used by the perpetrators, this time stolen in the Lubań area. This, in turn, made it possible to determine where the perpetrators were staying. They were arrested in the Zgorzelec area.
The detainees are men aged 24 and 32. In the premises they occupied, officers secured a number of items that may have come from other crimes.
The suspects were placed in police custody. They face up to 12 years in prison.
