At the same time, police officers from Chojnów received a report of the theft of an Audi. The perpetrators of the robbery were allegedly travelling in this vehicle.
The robbers drove to Bolesławiec, where they abandoned the car (it has since been recovered). Further actions led to the identification and securing of another car used by the perpetrators, this time one stolen in the Lubań area. This, in turn, made it possible to establish where the perpetrators were staying. They were arrested in the Zgorzelec area.
The detainees are men aged 24 and 32. In the premises they occupied, officers secured a number of items that may have come from other crimes.
The suspects were placed in police custody. They face up to 12 years in prison.
