On Saturday, February 27, the BTS Elektros Bolesławiec senior team hosted MKS Pogoń Góra. The hosts proved far from hospitable, crushing the visitors 3–0 (25–18, 25–17, 25–7).
Interestingly, among the spectators were the president of the Lower Silesian Volleyball Association Paweł Wachowiak and his deputy Stanisław Łopaciński. “We visit volleyball communities participating in competitions in Lower Silesia; today we were pleased to come to Bolesławiec,” P. Wachowiak told us.
He added: “The opponent did not put up a fight against the Bolesławiec team. If a team from Bierutów had appeared on the other side of the net, we would have seen volleyball at a truly high level today. It is clear that BTS Elektros is a well-organized club. I rate the Bolesławiec team very highly. It is a team that can successfully fight for promotion to the second division.
