The main objectives of the competition were to select the best competitors in individual events, promote sporting competition among children and young people, overcome age- and community-related barriers, popularize the spirit and ideas of karate, and promote sport karate in the region.

Participants competed in 49 events. A total of 175 competitors from 11 clubs took part in the tournament, including 55 girls and 120 boys. TOP Bolesławiec was represented by 14 competitors: Julia Krawczyk, Jakub Skóra, Sławomir Męczyński, Michał Bieliński, Wiktor Małkowski, Kacper Lis, Maciej Graczyk, Mikołaj Olek, Filip Matusiewicz, Arkadiusz Giela, Władysław Dyedov, Jan Kawałko, Marcin Żebrowski, Adam Rosiński (all fourteen are coached by Robert Bieliński).

The bouts in the kihon, phantom, kata and kumite events took place on three mats. The large audience enthusiastically and attentively cheered on the competitors' sporting rivalry.

The competitors from the Bolesławiec club finished in a high fifth place in the medal table, winning 10 medals in total (three gold and seven bronze). The successful competitors were:

  • Julia Krawczyk – 2 gold medals (kihon and kata), bronze in phantom
  • Jakub Skóra – gold in phantom and bronze in kihon, kata and kumite
  • Sławomir Męczyński – two bronze medals in kata and kumite
  • Michał Bieliński – bronze in kumite.

The youngest competitors, Mikołaj Olek and Maciej Graczyk, deserve special recognition. In their first competition, they finished just outside the podium after losing their bouts for third place.
