From the beginning of her career, Junior Inspector Katarzyna Szmyt was associated with the Zgorzelec unit. She always demonstrated great commitment and professionalism. She was an example for many young officers.
The farewell ceremony for the deputy commander took place in the conference room of the District Police Headquarters. District Commander Junior Inspector Leszek Zagórski presented the career of K. Szmyt, who was retiring, and thanked her for many years of cooperation and decisive action in the fight against crime.
The commander thanked the police officers and employees for their many years of cooperation. She emphasized that she had been a demanding superior; she expected the most from herself, but also from the officers under her command.
