On Saturday, a football tournament in the “Orliki” category was held at the sports hall in Gromadka, for players aged up to 11. The young footballers competed for the Mayor of Gromadka Municipality’s Cup. Of the eight teams taking part in the competition, the best were the young players from Granica Bogatynia. BKS Bolesławiec finished second. Sparta Zebrzydowa took third place.
The event was another competition in a weekly series held at the sports hall, which was opened less than six months ago (construction of the hall cost nearly 5.5 million złoty). Saturday’s tournament was co-organized by: the District Football Association in Jelenia Góra, the Municipal Culture and Sport Centre in Gromadka, and GKS Gromadka.
