This concerns more than a thousand people, as many as 82% of whom work in agriculture, while a small percentage are engaged in manufacturing. Those who find work on farms are seasonal workers who come to Poland for 3–6 months.

Last year, as many as 22 employers from our county submitted declarations of their intention to entrust work to foreigners; 10 of them were agricultural farms.

The vast majority of foreigners employed in Bolesławiec County are Ukrainians. In 2015, several Russians and Moldovans also worked here.
