A phenomenal vocal range spanning four and a half octaves, a love of music and acting talent—in short, this is how the Artist can be described. In a highly modern, even experimental-electronic rendition, he sang and played his compositions set to texts by Halina Poświatowska.
This was a completely new and experimental side of Janusz Radek, reflecting his current musical fascinations. During the concert, the vocalist played keyboard instruments, accompanied by pianist Adam Drzewiecki, known, among other things, for his work with “Pudelsi”.
The concert also featured songs already known to the Bolesławiec audience from previous concerts: “Kiedy U-Kochanie”, “Czekam Wytrwale”, “Scheila” and “Dobro”, which sounded beautiful alongside the new original compositions.
Janusz Radek has been regularly visiting our city for more than 10 years. He has performed eight times with successive musical projects, and each of his appearances was different, with a different repertoire each time. At the Forum hall, he presented his albums “Serwus Madonna”, “Gdzieś pomiędzy”, “Z ust do ust” and “Serwus do jutra”. We also hosted him with Zbigniew Książek and Piotr Rubik’s Świętokrzyski Triptych, during the City Days with the repertoire of “Dziwny Ten Świat - opowieść Niemenem”, and at the Bolesławiecka Gwiazdka Życzliwości concert with Olga Szomańska and Jacek Wójcicki.
After the concert, Janusz Radek met his most devoted fans in the Forum foyer. The autographs, group photographs and conversations seemed endless.
