The meeting concerned the development of the “Map of Security Threats in Poland,” enabling the reliable and clear identification of the scale and type of threats in individual regions, including Bolesławiec County.
Opening the debate, the county police commander in Bolesławiec, Inspector Henryk Stefanko, emphasized the role of public consultations and discussion in developing and using the threat map in a given area.
The central theme of the meeting was the presentation of the concept for creating a “threat map.” The project may become a useful tool both for institutions responsible for public safety—from the County Crisis Management Center to municipal offices—and for local communities.
The Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters website features a detailed report on the debate about threats in the county.
