As we read on the website Wroclaw.wyborcza.pl:
The head of Lower Silesian Civic Platform, Jacek Protasiewicz, should step down for the good of the party – this opinion can even be heard from his former associates. Bogdan Zdrojewski is most often mentioned as the new leader.
It is worth noting that in October 2013, Jacek Protasiewicz defeated Grzegorz Schetyna in the election for regional Civic Platform chairman, partly thanks to the support of the party’s Bolesławiec activists, including the current marshal of the voivodeship, Cezary Przybylski. “Newsweek” commented on the matter at the time:
Observers point out that the election of the new head of Lower Silesian Civic Platform was a “quiet clash” between Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Schetyna. Protasiewicz is seen as the prime minister’s ally.
Schetyna is now the head of the entire Civic Platform. Does this mean that he will want to repay Protasiewicz’s people in kind? And what about the position of marshal of Lower Silesia?
We invite you to join the discussion, and we will certainly return to the subject.
