It is worth recalling that “Termy Bolesławiec” opened in April 2015. The saltwater thermal baths are breaking popularity records month after month – both among Bolesławiec residents and tourists. More than 11,000 visitors per month – this is not merely a fashion for sport and recreation, but even a ritual that “applies” in many Bolesławiec families, who spend their free time in beautiful surroundings with a rich recreational and sports offer.
The 120-year-old facility was restored as part of the project “Restoring the former function of the bathing establishment in the historic swimming pool on Zgorzelecka Street”. The former Municipal Bathing Establishment was built in two stages. In 1895, the bathhouse building was erected in the Northern Renaissance style. The second part was built in 1914–1915. In its design, a tower that once belonged to the municipal fortification system was incorporated. The building is listed in the register of historic monuments.
After more than two years of renovation work, the historic Bathing Establishment reopened under its current name, “Termy Bolesławiec”.
The facility underwent comprehensive revitalization to introduce new functions aimed at expanding its offer and increasing its attractiveness and safety. The following are of particular interest: saltwater pools, a salt cave and a rehabilitation and recreation zone. The swimming pool gained a range of attractions. The individual floors feature: a gym, salt cave, cardio room, Vaculife Professional Dual – an exercise device using vacuum and infrared, a CO2 cryotherapy unit, solarium, sun meadow, recreational saltwater pool, saltwater pool, saltwater jacuzzi, fitness room, SPA capsule, water bed for dry massage, Ocean Forte tub for hydromassage and underwater massage, Laguna Plus Bubble tub for hydromassage and pearl massage, massage room, body treatment room and saunas.
