The incident occurred on February 8. Officers from the Zgorzelec traffic police conducted checks in the Zgorzelec municipality. In Trójca, they stopped a passenger car driver who was traveling at 103 km/h.
The driver, who exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area by more than 50 km/h, turned out to be a 35-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra. The man lost his driving licence for three months and was also fined 500 złoty and received 10 penalty points.
