Both burglaries took place on Friday, February 5, before noon. It was the same day that a 40-year-old man from Bolesławiec. climbed onto the roof of a ten-story building. The burglars had probably been watching the apartments beforehand. This is indicated by the fact that they took advantage of a moment when there were no residents in either of the apartments on the top floor of the four-story block on Jana Pawła II Street.

The thieves forced the locks and began searching both apartments. They stole cash from one of them. They also tried to steal household cleaning products that had not yet been used. They even managed to pack them into a bag, on top of which they placed a kitchen knife. However, frightened by the returning resident of one of the robbed apartments, they left the intended loot behind and fled.

The police were notified about the burglaries. Officers are carrying out activities aimed at apprehending the burglars.
