The entire incident looks amusing in a video recorded by the city monitoring cameras. Unfortunately, it is not fiction. A young man is rollerblading toward the skatepark in Bielański Park, pushing a waste bin in front of him. At the site, he places the container on the pavement and prepares to clear the obstacle by jumping over it. Fortunately, he did not jump, because the monitoring operator was watching the entire incident and immediately sent a Municipal Guard patrol to the site.
“Our quick intervention may have prevented a tragedy,” the Municipal Guard reports. “Unfortunately, during the school holidays, teenagers also come up with ideas for reckless entertainment. We had an educational conversation with the young man and informed his parents about the incident.”
The video is available on the official Facebook profile of the city of Legnica.
