One of Poland’s most important chemical companies, once operating — and thriving — in Łąka near Bolesławiec (Bolesławiec Municipality), is increasingly falling into ruin.
At the beginning of the 21st century, the Wizów Chemical Plant passed into private hands. Shortly afterward, the company declared bankruptcy. Things did not go particularly well for the next owner either.
There is talk of investors being interested in the plant. Whether they will manage to restore Wizów to its former glory — time will tell.
