Elżbieta Gizela Erban is the great-granddaughter of Władysław Erban, who took part in the January Uprising. Her family's rich and extraordinary history became the basis for the trilogy entitled “Kochankowie Burzy”, which covers this turbulent period in Poland's history.
The author meeting was a fascinating history lesson. The trilogy's author provided an in-depth discussion of the historical background and the geopolitical situation at the time. Students from Gimnazjum Samorządowe nr 2 im. Polaków Zesłanych na Sybir introduced the audience to the atmosphere of the era.
The book was published in a bibliophile edition.
