On January 23 this year, at approximately 10:20 a.m., the duty officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra received information that a horse-drawn carriage was traveling along Mickiewicza Street in Szklarska Poręba and that the driver was probably drunk.

The duty officer sent a police patrol to the scene. After several minutes, the officers stopped the carriage and its driver.

The detained man was a 50-year-old resident of Szklarska Poręba. The man clearly smelled of alcohol. The test showed more than 2‰.

The driver was fined PLN 500, and the owner secured the carriage.
