On 20 January, police officers from Bolesławiec County visited the students of the Primary School in Kraśnik Dolny. The talks were held in groups for grades 0–III and IV–VI. The meetings focused on children’s safety in various situations, particularly during winter holidays.

The officers discussed the rules of safe road use, safe play, and how to behave properly when encountering an unfamiliar dog. The children eagerly demonstrated the so-called turtle position. The youngest students were reminded of the emergency telephone numbers and shown situations in which they should call for help using 997 or 112.

Winter holidays are a period when students have plenty of free time, meet new people, spend time in front of computers and outdoors, and enjoy the charms of winter. The police officers paid particular attention to the fact that children should use only professional ice rinks and should not venture onto frozen bodies of water.

The students from Kraśnik Dolny eagerly took part in the meetings with the police officers, demonstrating their knowledge of safety rules. At the end, the children had the opportunity to make a fingerprint on a commemorative card.
