Meetings entitled "Journeys to the Land of Fantasy", organised during the winter holidays at the Public Library in Bolesławiec, attracted between 20 and 30 people every day. The programme of diverse activities designed to develop the imagination was aimed at primary school pupils. All activities were free of charge.
For the arts activities, the library provided the necessary materials. Among other things, the children learned the basics of origami, the decoupage decorating technique and how to make a knot puppet. Participants could also enjoy theatre games, solve puzzles, rebuses and crosswords testing their knowledge of literary works and their characters, and use the library’s film collection.
