Between February and April, our stage will host wonderful vocalists: Janusz Radek, Edyta Geppert, Anna Maria Jopek and Michał Bajor. Ticket reservations are available on the website of the Bolesławiec Forum cinema.

February 2016

11 February, 7:00 p.m. Janusz Radek concert
On the occasion of the upcoming Valentine's Day, Janusz Radek will perform for the Bolesławiec audience with the Poświatowska/Radek programme. The well-known and popular artist returns once again to the poetry of Halina Poświatowska. In a very modern, even experimental-electronic form, he sings and performs his compositions to the poet's verses. The concert programme will include: “Czekam wytrwale”, “Sheila”, “Kiedy U-Kochanie”, “Jeśli chcesz mnie zatrzymać”, “Bez ciebie”, “W twoich doskonałych palcach” and others.

18 February, 7:00 p.m. The “Długi ŁYKend” play
The play, directed by Piotr Dąbrowski, will feature Piotr Cyrwus, Piotr Dąbrowski, Katarzyna Walter and Maja Barełkowska. “Długi ŁYKend” is a classic comedy, brilliantly written, with excellent dialogue and surprising plot twists. Its protagonists are two couples who love/hate each other: a lawyer and a psychotherapist, and an inept screenwriter and a shop owner. The four spend a weekend in a summer house lost somewhere in the forests of eastern Poland. What happens during these few days will turn their lives upside down. Love, friendship, hatred, jealousy… Everything is presented with a great sense of humour. How will the protagonists' lives unfold? What decisions will they make? How will this story end...?

25 February, 7:00 p.m. Edyta Geppert concert
A recital featuring Piotr Matuszczyk (piano) and Jerzy Szarecki (trumpet), based on a script by and directed by Piotr Loretz. Edyta Geppert is known for taking great care in creating her repertoire. Her precisely directed performances are a rare opportunity to hear true gems of Polish literary song. Many songs from the artist's repertoire have stood the test of time and become evergreens. A meeting with Edyta Geppert is a unique opportunity to experience emotions that only a few artists endowed with true charisma can provide their audience.

March 2016

9 March, 7:00 p.m. Anna Maria Jopek concert
Anna Maria Jopek KWARTET is the most versatile and wildest formation Anna Maria Jopek works with. None of her groups is as full of song, and none is as spectacular. The musicians play an incredible number of instruments, which they are able to change during the performance. Colours shimmer and intermingle, while the music escapes conventions, genres and forms. It seems to have no limits. This project is great fun, but also a major challenge.

10 March, 7:00 p.m. The “Hiszpańska Mucha” play
An erotic comedy of errors! The production, intended exclusively for adult audiences, will feature Anna Korcz, Sambor Czarnota, Piotr Szwedes, Martyna Kliszewska and Dorota Zięciowska.
London, the early 1930s. Theatre director Arthur Spender is preparing a dazzling revue starring Nora Wallins, a star of London's musical theatres and, privately, the director's long-term partner. Bold staging ideas exhaust the theatre's budget. Arthur is forced to ask the revue's producer, Harry Jo, for additional funds. The producer agrees, but under certain conditions that will prove too difficult to fulfil. The titular “Hiszpańska Mucha” will play an important role in the story, revealing the characters' erotic fantasies. The wild 1930s, jazz, the backstage world of revue theatre, Shakespeare and a woollen beret from Harrods—all presented in the beautiful setting of English Art Deco!

April 2016

7 April, 7:00 p.m. Michał Bajor concert, “Moja miłość”
This is another solo recital by Michał Bajor, as well as his 19th CD under the same title. It is also the artist's third consecutive meeting—with “Od Piaf do Garou” and “Moje podróże” preceding it—with the master of song gems, Wojciech Młynarski. This time, the performer has collected 17 hits about love: songs hummed for generations and known to listeners of every generation. These include, among others, “Prześliczna wiolonczelistka”, “Odkryjemy miłość nieznaną”, “Ach życie kocham cię nad życie” and “Lubię wracać”. During the concert, Michał Bajor will also perform two new songs written for him by the master and recorded on the album as duets with Alicja Majewska and Ania Wyszkoni. We invite you to an evening full of hit-filled memories—an extremely melodic evening, with songs in a wide variety of moods and rhythms.

21 April, 7:00 p.m. The “Złodziej” play
The comedy by one of Britain's most popular authors, Eric Chappell, directed by Cezary Żak, stars Renata Dancewicz, Izabela Kuna, Cezary Żak, Rafał Królikowski and Leszek Lichota/Jacek Braciak. The “Złodziej” play offers a star-studded cast, an intelligent plot and, above all, plenty of humour—witty jokes, flamboyant twists and a surprising finale.
A house outside the city, late evening: the hosts return from a party with their friends. A thief is caught red-handed. But he is no ordinary crook. He is a likeable thief, played brilliantly by Cezary Żak—a thief who, while searching the house, has learned the residents' deepest secrets. A thief with imagination, a psychologist who turns the residents' relationships upside down. But is he the only thief who will appear on stage?
