Swimming for infants involves exercises that help them become accustomed to the aquatic environment, gymnastics, and developing desirable habits that improve the child’s safety in water. Organized water classes for infants and younger children help develop personality and social skills through spending time in a group of peers.

During the classes, muscle fibers located directly beneath the skin are intensively stimulated by the parent’s touch and the water (the water flows around the entire body and provides resistance). This produces a relaxing effect and regulates muscle tension. In addition, exercises in water improve the sense of balance and activate the circulatory and respiratory systems.

Such meetings are a great idea for spending active leisure time with your child.
