Kinga Dębska’s film, winner of the Journalists’ Award, the Polish Network of Study and Local Cinemas Award and the Audience Award at the 40th Gdynia Film Festival – “Moje córki krowy”. The adventure film “Operacja Arktyka” and the sports drama “Creed: Narodziny legendy”, in which Sylvester Stallone returns to the screen as Rocky Balboa, while Michael B. Jordan co-stars in this contemporary installment of the series.

The Polish romantic comedy “Słaba płeć?” is entering its second week on our screen—a wry comedy about today’s generation of thirty-year-olds trying to find their way in a world of rapid careers, big money and superficial human relationships. A world in which you have to fight your way forward, while only a few can afford the luxury of being themselves.

On Saturday, 9 January, at 12:15 p.m., the European animated film “Pinokio” will be shown as part of the Poranek na bis series—a timeless story for the whole family that will amuse viewers of all ages. Tickets cost only PLN 9.

In the film “Moje córki krowy”, Marta (Kulesza), a star of popular TV series, is 42 years old, strong and dominant. Despite her fame and money, she still cannot put her life in order. Emotionally unstable 40-year-old Kasia (Muskała) is stuck in a far-from-ideal marriage (Marcin Dorociński plays her husband), raising a teenage son (Jeremi Protas). The sisters do not particularly like each other; they completely fail to understand one another and do not even try to understand each other’s life choices. Illnesses and, consequently, the loss of one of their parents force them to act together. The women gradually grow closer and regain their lost contact, leading to a series of tragicomic situations.

“Operacja Arktyka” – siblings decide to visit their father, who works near the North Pole. They sneak onto a rescue helicopter, but when its route changes, they land on an uninhabited island in the far north.

“Creed: Narodziny legendy” – young Adonis Creed (Jordan) arrives in Philadelphia. He is the son of Apollo, once Rocky’s fierce rival and also his great friend. The young man never met his father, but he undoubtedly has boxing in his blood. He abandons a promising career and, risking his future, pursues his dreams. Rejected by the professional boxing community, he finds a mentor in Rocky. Initially reluctant, the champion eventually sees his father’s strength and determination in Adonis. With the support of the legendary boxer and the woman he loves, will the young Creed prove his worth? Will he be able to create his own legend?
