After Sunday’s defeat to Karkonosze Jelenia Góra, BKS, with 7 points collected, occupied 13th place in the table of the Lower Silesian fourth-division competition. Wednesday’s match began uninterestingly. The first half was slow and at times boring, with both teams struggling to produce much. In the 18th minute, BKS fans held their breath when our team’s goalkeeper made two effective saves after dangerous shots from the visitors. In the 30th minute, the post saved us from conceding a goal. BKS players failed to create a dangerous opportunity in the first half. It looked as though the players had focused on set pieces, namely free kicks and corners. Among other things, after a free kick taken by Ciliński, the ball hit the visitors’ wall.

The second half saw somewhat better play from both teams. However, the same shortcomings were once again visible in our team’s performance: inaccurate passes and a lack of finishing in front of the visitors’ goal. BKS players took very few shots on goal, despite one Śląsk Wrocław player leaving the pitch after receiving a second yellow card. In the 64th minute, the first goal of the match was scored. Pietrzak scored from a free kick after one of our players was fouled. In the 71st minute, the same player scored a second goal in an analogous situation. In the 75th minute, following a mistake by our defense, Kowalczyk scored a goal for Śląsk to bring them back into the game. From that moment, the closing stages of the match became nervous. Despite playing with a one-player advantage, BKS players did not score any more goals in the match.
