We wrote about the case in the article Robbery at a shop on Sierpnia ’80. The perpetrator hit a shop assistant and stole money. As a result of operational activities, police officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained a man suspected of committing this robbery and attempting to steal money from a pharmacy.

The incidents occurred in Bolesławiec during the week before Christmas. The 30-year-old committed a robbery at a grocery store, stealing nearly PLN 450. He then attempted to rob a pharmacy.

As a result of operational activities and analyses of surveillance recordings, the Bolesławiec police correctly identified the perpetrator. It turned out that the 30-year-old man, originally from Bytom, had left prison in November this year after 8 years and had only recently been staying in Bolesławiec County.

The suspect confessed to the alleged offences. At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, the court remanded him in custody for 3 months. The man faces up to 18 years in prison.
