On Saturday, the IV-league TOP Bolesławiec volleyball team played an away match in Świebodzice. In the first set, the Bolesławiec players confidently defeated their opponents. However, the second and third sets were more difficult for our team. Our volleyball players lost the third set despite leading 24–20. The hosts levelled the score at 24–24 and defeated our team 27–25.
In the fourth set, our players learned from the mistakes they had made earlier and won to level the match at 2–2. The winner was decided in the fifth set. TOP started it with a commanding 6–0 lead, but the hosts did not give up. The match between TOP Bolesławiec and Silesia Świebodzice ended with a 15–13 victory for our team (3–2 in sets).
The TOP Fan Club, which travelled to Świebodzice with the volleyball players, helped Bolesławiec secure this valuable victory. Bolesławiec supporters loudly and enthusiastically cheered on their team, making more noise than the home fans.
