Among those honored with the title of Animator of the Year was Alicja Bender, an animator at the Orlik facility by Gimnazjum Samorządowe No. 3 in Bolesławiec. The competition was open to animators who took part in the 2015 edition of the “Animator – Moje Boisko Orlik 2012” project.
The ceremonial presentation of diplomas took place during the National Conference of the Nasz Orlik Programme, held on 10 December at the Olympic Centre in Warsaw. The conference was also an opportunity to sum up the most important events held as part of the programme in 2015. And there was a lot going on – in 2015, Orlik facilities were visited by more than 28 million people: children, young people and adults.
Alicja Bender:
Being a winner of such a competition is a great distinction for me. In 2015, 3,405 animators were employed across the country, so being among the 22 best is a tremendous reward, especially since only two women were honored. This win not only makes me very happy, but also motivates me to continue my work and improve myself. I hope that in the future equipment will be provided at the Orlik facilities in Bolesławiec, so that, as in other cities, not only young people and children but also seniors will visit us.
More information is available on NaszOrlik.pl both about the Orlik facilities themselves and about Alicja Bender being named Animator of the Year.
