Tomasz Kozłowski is a psychologist, motivational speaker, coach and experienced trainer. He specializes in crisis intervention, as well as team and leadership assessment. He was a mountain rescuer for many years. He is also a skydiver (1,200+ jumps). In December 2014, rising into the stratosphere in a hot-air balloon with two other skydivers, he made the highest parachute jump in Europe.

The author will promote his book “The Story of a Thousand Fears.” The title does not lie—it is a book about fears. About a thousand different fears, crawling out of nowhere. About social fears, about completely unjustified needs to fulfill other people’s expectations, and about catastrophic visions of the future growing in our heads. It is also an experimental record of continually overcoming one’s own limitations and hardships while leaving the so-called comfort zone, ultimately leading to the establishment of an unofficial world record and three official European records in a parachute formation jump from a hot-air balloon.

In a rather humorous, and at times moving, way, the book shows the power of trivial things which, taking on monstrous proportions, begin to have an almost unlimited influence on the process of making important life decisions.
