Until 18 December 2015, the District Police Headquarters in Lubin will be collecting teddy bears, games and books for sick children staying at the Municipal Hospital in Lubin. “Last year, the response to the ‘Give a Teddy Bear to a Child’ campaign exceeded our expectations,” the officers say. “Employees from various workplaces donated teddy bears, visiting our headquarters in large numbers.”

They add: “After speaking with hospital staff, this year we are asking people to donate teddy bears, various board games and storybooks (preferably new or in good condition). The holiday season is a special time when every child should have a smile on their face. By delivering the collected gifts before Christmas Eve, we hope to bring that smile to all the young patients’ faces and allow them to forget about their illness.”

The collection for the children is being conducted by the Social Prevention Team of KPP Lubin, 10 A Kilińskiego Street, room 36.
