For some time now, a Renault Laguna has been parked on Piotra and Pawła Street in Bolesławiec. There would be nothing unusual about this, were it not for the fact that—as Readers inform us—someone smashed a window in the car. And that, reportedly, homeless people spend the night there.
Residents notified both the police and the municipal police. Without result. “Municipal officers were on site,” says “ii” Kamila Chalewicz-Pudłowska, head of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police. “And because a window in the car had been smashed, they called the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec to ask whether the car might have been stolen. The KPP duty officer then informed us that the police were handling the matter.
Indeed. “We are in the process of determining the owner’s whereabouts,” says Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, spokesperson for the Bolesławiec police. Until officers speak with him, the car will remain there. “The vehicle is parked correctly and does not pose a danger. At this time, there is no need to have it towed,” the spokesperson adds.
We will return to this subject.
