One of the three so-called Schetynka road projects sought by the local government has officially received funding. It will continue the renovation of Road 2272 and bring a qualitative change to Gromadka Commune. Another 11 kilometres of the road leading from Bolesławiec to the borders of Polkowice County will be renovated.
– Wójt Dariusz Pawliszczy contributed 2 million, we added PLN 600,000, and the great benefit of this programme is that we managed to double this amount and, for PLN 5.2 million, we will complete this very important investment for Gromadka Commune and Bolesławiec County. We are completing this project as the fourth “Schetynka” project – says Bolesławiec County head Dariusz Kwaśniewski.
– The County is also seeking money for a “Schetynka” project in Bolesławiec Commune, and there is still a good chance that the road running from the border of Lwówek County to National Road 94 will receive funding in a similar amount – notes Deputy County Head Marian Haniszewski.
Meanwhile, 2016 promises to be exceptional, as the County, in cooperation with Osiecznica Commune, is seeking renovation of the most important road in the commune, Road 2271D, together with two bridges. If the application is approved, this would be the first road investment of such a scale in the County, exceeding PLN 26 million.
– Money is not an end in itself. What matters is that we would renovate 23 kilometres of road and, at the same time, two bridges – the County head emphasises.
