In several locations around the city, drivers found penalty notices for improper parking tucked under the windscreen wipers of passenger cars parked near buildings. The notice contains the name of the institution to whose account the money should be paid, the account number and the fine amount, namely PLN 200.
Below this, the vehicle registration number, to which the fine is supposedly related, the place where the vehicle was parked, and an illegible stamp and signature of the alleged officer have been handwritten.
Police officers report that this is illegal activity; the institution shown on the notice as the issuer of the fine does not exist. THE FINE IS FAKE AND NO MONEY SHOULD BE PAID INTO THIS ACCOUNT!
