On Saturday, November 7, the BTS Elektros Bolesławiec senior team faced KKS Ren-But Złotoryja away. The hosts made the better start in the first set, putting up strong resistance to the Bolesławiec team and winning the game 25–23. In the second set, our team woke up and defeated their opponents 25–17. The next set was complete domination by the visiting team. We won that game 25–11.
The fourth set was once again more evenly matched, but we proved better in that one as well, winning the entire match 3–1 (23–25, 25–17, 25–11, 25–20). “A winning team is not judged,” comments Jacek Łuczkowski, head of Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Siatkarskie. “We won on difficult opponents’ home court. The team from Złotoryja deserves respect. Despite the departure of key players and the fact that this team is essentially being built from scratch, the Złotoryja players are getting better with every match. But our players did what they had to do, and three points have been added to our tally,” he adds.
This Saturday, our volleyball players face a very important match against Ikar Legnica. Details to follow.
