The president mentioned that Bishop Zbigniew Kiernikowski of the Diocese of Legnica had visited the city hall. “We discussed many topics, but most importantly, Bolesławiec will be one of the important co-organizers of World Youth Day,” emphasized Piotr Roman. “We can expect around a thousand young people here.”
He added: “This is a great opportunity for Bolesławiec to present itself. And, on the other hand, to make sure that the young people who come here feel that they are taking part in something great, unforgettable and historic.”
The next World Youth Day, gatherings of young Catholics initiated by St. John Paul II, will take place in July 2016. Good news?
