From November 2 (while supplies last) the Department of Dialogue and Social Affairs of Jelenia Góra City Hall (town hall, annex, ground floor, room no. 1) is providing free national flags to interested housing communities and owners of single-family homes. “Many residents would like to fly flags at the properties where they live on the occasion of national holidays. The nearest opportunity will be the 97th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence,” said Marcin Zawiła, President of Jelenia Góra.

To make it easier to “come into possession” of a flag, municipal officials are asking those who would like to decorate their homes to contact them.

The flags measure 70 x 112 cm, and their number is limited (300 units), hence the request to contact the Department as soon as possible. The flags are issued without poles, which the community or property owner must obtain independently.

A similar campaign held before the May holidays proved very popular, and the supply of flags ran out after just a few days.
