The competition was held in eight categories. Bolesławiec, alongside Wałbrzych and Dzierżoniów, was one of three cities nominated for the award for local governments achieving particular success in cooperation with business. The “Griffin” statuette went to the Wałbrzych municipality. The honorary distinction for Bolesławiec was accepted by the city’s mayor, Piotr Roman.
The Grand Business Gala also included the presentation of a Special Award in the “Personality of Lower Silesia” category, which went to Prof. Ewa Michnik, director of the Wrocław Opera.
The competition is organized by: the Western Chamber of Commerce, the Polish Copper Employers’ Association SA, the Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, and Employers of Poland.
