Police officers from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra caught two residents of Piechowice, aged 38 and 57, in the act of committing a crime. The men are suspected of burglary at one of the buildings in Piechowice.
On October 28 this year, at around 5:40 p.m., the duty officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra was notified of a suspected break-in at one of the detached houses in Piechowice. A neighbor heard someone break a window in the building, whose owners were absent.
After being notified of the incident, police officers arrested a 38-year-old man outside the building, where he was sitting in a car. It turned out that the man had been acting as a lookout and was waiting for his colleague.
Inside the building, officers arrested a 57-year-old man who was preparing items he intended to steal.
Both suspects were placed in police custody. They could face up to 10 years in prison.
