Police officers from the criminal department of the Lubin police headquarters dismantled a car chop shop in Lubin County. The officers recovered three Audi cars stolen in Germany last week. One of the vehicles was recovered intact; the other two had already been partially dismantled. Their market value was estimated at more than 250,000 zlotys.
Interestingly, the perpetrators who were inside the chop shop were so busy dismantling the vehicles that… they did not even notice the police officers’ presence. The suspects—two men aged 22 and 24, residents of Lubin County—were arrested and taken into police custody. They face up to five years in prison.
The investigation is ongoing, and the officers do not rule out further arrests.
