Last weekend, police officers from Bogatynia received information about a live puppy being thrown into a toilet. Unfortunately, the report proved to be true. Officers established that a 45-year-old woman had put the small dog in the toilet and flushed it.
The animal became stuck in the sewer pipe. The intervention of firefighters and building administration employees was necessary. The puppy was freed, but it was so exhausted that it could not be saved.
The woman initially explained that she had wanted to “wash” the dog. Later, however, she admitted that she had done it intentionally. She was taken into police custody. She could face up to three years in prison.
