The jury had plenty to choose from—66 artists and nearly 200 works. Legnica artists triumphed. The lion statuette, the Legnica mayor’s award, went to the sculptor Grzegorz Niemyjski. The Grand Prix was unanimously awarded to Edward Mirowski. In the photography and multimedia competition, the Grand Prix went to Konrad Banaszkiewicz. In this category, the following received distinctions: Dariusz Górski, Andrzej Kluska, Piotr Krzyżanowski and Dariusz Mikołajewicz.
The jury also recognized the works of Norman Smużniak and Dagmara Angier-Sroka. Three honorary distinctions from the director of the Art Gallery were awarded to Roma Pilitsidis, Lidia Markiewicz-Niwadzia and Krzysztof Juretko. The art magazine “Format” honored Małgorzata Maćkowiak with publication in its pages. The traditional Old Lions for Young Wolves award went to Łukasz Górski.
