The incident occurred on October 19 at approximately 6:00 a.m. in Bielawa Dolna (near the viaduct). As a result of the accident, a 36-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The driver who hit the cyclist fled the scene. Police officers from Pieńsk are asking anyone with information about the circumstances of the accident to contact them in person or by telephone at 75 649 43 65 or 997.
“We are looking for anyone who can help identify the driver and the vehicle he was driving. We guarantee complete anonymity,” the officers say.
