Eco-Olympics was the second event in a series promoting selective waste collection, organized by the Environmental Protection and Waste Management Department of the Municipal Office. The event began with a wonderful performance by Teatr Avatar entitled “Jungle”. This dance story depicts the struggle between the forces of nature and the waste of civilization, which disrupts the order of Mother Earth’s kingdom.
The children took part in many interesting activities, games and entertainments. Despite the cold autumn weather, the atmosphere among the participants of the Eco-Olympics was hot. The youngest participants could also demonstrate their knowledge of ecology. They received eco-gadgets for correct answers.
The next meeting is next week (September 18). Also in the Market Square, at 3:30 p.m. Teatr Avatar invites everyone to a performance entitled “Lucek and Pucek versus the Great Litterbug”.
