Update
Below is a report from the match from the BTS Elektros Bolesławiec Facebook profile:
They got into gear!
The BTS Elektros Bolesławiec volleyball players defeated KS Sudety Kamienna Góra in excellent style! It was the second round of matches.
The Bolesławiec players showed a completely different side than a week earlier in Żarów. Despite the ongoing problems with staffing the middle-blocker positions (three players were absent), the team played an attractive match.
From the beginning of the match, the “Electrics” imposed their conditions of play. Focused and confident in their game, they repeatedly broke through the opponents’ block and defense. Coach Marcin Sobczyszyn’s tactical plan produced results. What kind? The first set ended 25:21 and the second 25:20. In the third set, the hosts, spurred on by the support of a packed hall, found a second wind. The Kamienna Góra players had even taken a 17:10 lead. The Bolesławiec team set about making up the deficit and leveled the score late in the set. Unfortunately, despite the evenly matched play, Sudety ultimately won the third set 25:23. The fourth set was extremely even from the start. BTS did not want to allow a tie-break, but the home side refused to give up. In the closing stages, our volleyball players put on a masterclass, finishing the match with a 25:22 victory. The entire match ended 3:1.
Next week, our first home match of the season! Join us on Saturday, October 17, at 6 p.m. at the 1st General Secondary School sports hall on Tyrankiewiczów Street for the match against KS Jelenia Góra!
