A 35-year-old resident of Lubin would come to a pharmacy with a prescription for a strong painkiller. He was able to fill a prescription for the potent medication twice in one day. This aroused the suspicion of a pharmacy employee, who reported the matter to the police.
Police established that the man had blank prescription forms, which he filled out himself. He then forged the doctor’s signature. In this way, he filled seven prescriptions. The doctor denied prescribing the indicated medication to anyone.
The 35-year-old admitted to the alleged offences, explaining that he was addicted to medication. He faces up to five years in prison.
