Krystyna Raszka. By education, conviction and great passion, she is a Polish philologist. By vocation, she is a teacher. Before retiring, she worked, among other places, in Raciborowice, at Primary School No. 4, Primary School No. 5, ZPO and Lower Secondary School No. 1. For several years, she was a Polish Scouting and Guiding Association instructor, leading and co-organising scout camps.

For years, she has spent her retirement actively. Since 2002, she has worked with PCEiKK as a consultant and methodological adviser for Polish. As the initiator and author, she organises Polish-language competitions for primary- and lower-secondary-school pupils every year. She is the author of several dozen methodological online publications (www.scholaris.pl).

In 2003, she established a garden on Chrobrego Street. It received distinctions several times in the Bolesławiec “City in Flowers” competition. She works with MDK and, as an animator, led Poets’ Nights. This is only part of her activity. In addition, she travels. She has varied interests.

She has been painting for 10 years. She is self-taught. She has presented her works at solo and group exhibitions. From 2006 to 2010, she repeatedly displayed her works in one of the windows of the Agora bookshop.

“Watercolour has always fascinated me. However, lack of time and professional duties did not allow me to pick up a brush,” she told “ii” in 2013.

The opening of another exhibition of watercolours by the Bolesławiec painter will take place on Friday, 16 October at Galeria Format (the building of the Municipal Public Library in Bolesławiec, Sądowa Street). It begins at 5:00 p.m..
