The incident occurred after 11:00 a.m. The Volkswagen driver failed to stop for a police check on Ogrodowa Street. While fleeing from officers along Tamka Street and turning toward Kościuszki Street (under the viaduct), he collided with an Opel that was stopped at a red light.
The Volkswagen then also hit a barrier under the viaduct. The man responsible for the collision and the injured woman who was driving the Opel were taken to hospital. The man is known to the police.
