Police officers from the Rudna Police Station received a report concerning the arson of a garden shed in Rudna Municipality. The losses caused by the fire amounted to approximately PLN 12,000. Officers arrested a 52-year-old resident of Lubin suspected of committing the crime.
As the police established, two men were drinking alcohol together in Lubin. At one point, an argument over a woman broke out. One of them took out his anger on the other man’s car, smashing one of its windows. The other participant in the brawl did not let the matter go unanswered. He went to a petrol station, where he bought gasoline, and then went to the area of Rudna Municipality and set fire to his acquaintance’s garden shed. The entire incident was recorded by surveillance cameras.
The 52-year-old will face trial for his actions.
