On September 18, 19 and 20, 2015, kindergartens and schools, sports clubs, non-governmental organizations, as well as private individuals took part in the joint cleanup. As every year, the Municipal Services and Environmental Protection Department of the Jelenia Góra City Hall provided bags and gloves for this purpose. In total, nearly 270 120-liter bags of mixed waste were collected; 70 bags of glass bottles and jars were also separated.

Children from Municipal Kindergarten No. 27 and Primary School No. 2, as well as young people from Middle School No. 1, set out for Nowowiejska Street and the adjacent green areas; the latter cleaned the area as far as Solidarności Avenue. Nearby, Karkonoski Sports Club led the cleanup of the area around the stadium. Meanwhile, “Żerom” cleaned the embankment near Urocza Street and Podgórze.

The largest number of participants—450 children—was registered by Primary School No. 8! Its students cleaned the areas around Szymanowskiego, Paderewskiego and Różyckiego streets. Primary School No. 6 came next, registering 440 participants and cleaning the Orle housing estate and the areas near the Cieplice embankments. The School Complex of Artistic Crafts cleaned the area around the school, as well as Cervi Street as far as Norweski Park. The Primary School No. 15 and Middle School No. 5 Complex cleaned the school surroundings, the sports field on Jordana Street and the running trails.

The Strzelecka Góra area and the Widok housing estate were cleaned by children from the Municipal Integration Kindergarten. Primary School No. 3 cleaned the areas around the building and playground, as well as PCK and Hirszfelda streets. Students from Primary School No. 10 cleaned Morcinka Street and the adjacent green areas. The non-public Tuptuś Kindergarten also cleaned Morcinka Street, as well as Żeromskiego Street.

Primary School No. 13 chose the squares in the city center. Students with bags appeared near the fountain and park on Wolności Street, on Szewska and Traugutta streets, as well as in Żiżka Park. Children from Municipal Kindergarten No. 4 also cleaned the center: Mickiewicza and Krasickiego streets, as far as Chełmońskiego Street. Secondary and Vocational School Complex No. 2 cleaned the area around the school and gymnasium, as well as the vicinity of the school sports field and parking lot. Near “Handlówka”, School Dormitory No. 1 led the campaign, cleaning the area along the Młynówka and Kilińskiego Street.

As every year, “Mechanik” chose the route toward “Grzybek” and Perła Zachodu, while the School Complex of Electronics and Middle School No. 3 cleaned the areas around Grunwaldzka, Anieli Krzywoń and Lwówecka streets. Young people from Middle School No. 4 cleaned the school grounds and Karłowicza Street. Children from Municipal Kindergarten No. 13 collected litter from the green areas near the “Zameczek” in Zabobrze.

The Special Educational Center and the Youth Sociotherapy Center also joined the campaign with their students. The former cleaned the area around the school and Kruszwicka Street, while the latter cleaned Sprzymierzonych and Langego streets, as well as parts of Sobieszowska and Zjednoczenia Narodowego streets. The Jeleniogórska Promenada Bobru Association deserves special mention; together with the “Jeleniogórska Promenada Bobru” School Club at the Mechanik School in Jelenia Góra, it took part in cleaning the area around the Bóbr River. During a walk along the river, participants cleaned the walking route near Wiejska Street, as far as the vicinity of the Hunchback Bridge, the Railway Bridge, the Grunwaldzki Bridge and the bridge near Jana Pawła II Avenue.
