These and other questions will be answered tomorrow by experts from the Ministry of Economy, the Lower Silesian Intermediate Body and the National Contact Point for Financial Instruments of European Union Programmes.
The Legnica Special Economic Zone, the Arleg Regional Development Agency and Legnica Mayor Tadeusz Krzakowski cordially invite you to the conference entitled “EU Funds for Businesses in 2014–2020”. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, 6 October this year, at 10:00 a.m. in the Business Incubator building at 4 plac Wolności in Legnica.
A press conference concerning the opportunities available to companies wishing to benefit from EU support is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., half an hour before the meeting begins.
The conference will be attended by: Ilona Antoniszyn-Klik, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy, Tadeusz Krzakowski, Mayor of Legnica, Rafał Jurkowlaniec, President of the Legnica Special Economic Zone, and Tadeusz Maćkała, President of the Arleg Regional Development Agency.
Under the EU financial perspective for 2014–2020, Lower Silesia has more than PLN 9 billion at its disposal for the Regional Operational Programme. The ROP Lower Silesia 2014–2020 is one of 16 regional programmes managed by regional self-government authorities. The programme consists of 11 priority axes, including 7 co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (EUR 1.6189 billion) and 4 by the European Social Fund (EUR 554.4 million).
A few days ago, the Lower Silesian Intermediate Body (DIP) announced the first five calls for proposals under which entrepreneurs can apply for funding from the ROP for 2014–2020. Employing researchers and technicians, construction work, purchasing scientific and research equipment, or purchasing or leasing so-called fixed assets, that is, buildings and land, are just some of the investments entrepreneurs can carry out thanks to EU support.
