During the meeting, a licensed swordsmith of the Japanese Ministry of Culture will explain what a traditional Japanese katana looks like. From Hiroshi Kojima, whose family has made weapons for Japanese rulers for six generations, we will learn when the first swords of this type appeared and what the laborious and complex process of making them looks like. The swordsmith will explain how this type of weapon differs from a European sword. He will also present a full range of traditional samurai swords.
